Where are the traditional feminists? Why are they silent?

I’m questioning whether I’m transgender. And before you fall off your chair, I will preface this by stating the below before I move on to the absurdity that goes unquestioned.

I am an affirmed traditional feminist as opposed to the woke feminists of today.

Traditional feminists believe in and fight for equal rights and opportunities for women within existing social structures. Many of us follow in the footsteps of our female ancestors, who fought for legal and political reforms to address gender inequality, particularly in areas like suffrage, property rights, and access to education and employment.

Traditional feminists work within a framework that acknowledges biological differences between men and women, and we continue to fight for the right to women’s only spaces and to keep biological men out of these places and out of sport. We wish no harm to those who struggle with dysphoria and mental illness. But we will not stand by whilst our hard-earned rights are eroded. And we are dogged in our fight against the new social constructs and power dynamics that is leading back to biological women’s subordination today.

Now, to the absurdity that goes unquestioned.

Many of you will know the legal battle (Giggle vs Tickle) between Sall Gover and Roxanne Tickle. Many of you are also aware of the satirical mug that has been selling on Etsy containing a satirical comment based on a disclosure Tickle made in an interview on SBS. And that Sall was fined $10,000 for a natural human response of a brief giggle over the statement on the mug that was presented in court. I also laughed because it comes back to the absurd statements that are made but never questioned.

In the interview on SBS, Tickle talked about her love of hockey and the years she spent playing hockey. She spent 10 years playing hockey with four teams. She went to university, travelled overseas and returned to Australia and, following an epiphany (after 20 years) she was finally able to admit to herself how uncomfortable she was playing with a men’s hockey team and being in the men’s change rooms. She stated, “The sounds, the smells, the language, the personal interactions - everything except for the actual hockey had felt foreign to me. I hadn’t really belonged at all. I was just there.” That’s when she admitted to herself that she was transgender.

Given that I’ve been battling a back injury for the past two weeks, and because I don’t enjoy taking pain killers etc I’ve been slathering myself with Extra Strength Deep Heat, which helps. In fact, I like the smell of Deep Heat, albeit I do smell rather obviously like the boys’ locker room. In fact, perversely, I even find the burning (the extra strength burns) comforting. So, using the Tickle measure, I’m now questioning my gender.

Yes, it is absurd. But so is the fact that women have to fight for spaces where they feel safe. And sporting fields where they feel safe and can compete on equal terms. It is absurd that elected representatives are doing nothing about this in this country. It is absurd that women like Sall Grover are left to carry the burden in battling people like Roxanne Tickle. And it is absurd that so few women are standing up and saying, enough is enough.

BTW the way as someone who has spent a bit of time in female locker rooms, they aren’t the most pleasant of places either.

We can no longer afford to be bystanders

We can look to history to see the similarities with today. And whilst we don’t have a Hilter running Australia, we are battling with a cultural shift that, if not addressed, gives rise to extremists capitalising on it.

It was written in the Holocaust Encyclopaedia that the Holocaust was a series of events that happened over a long period of time. Jews were dehumanised, deprived of many legal rights, became the victims of both random and organised violence, and were socially, if not physically, isolated from the rest of the population. Many people became “bystanders” to this ever-radicalising program long before the mass roundups and killings began.

Whilst God willing, we will never see that repeated we are witnessing the random and organised violence against Jews in our own country. We graphically see the manifestation of the radicalisation of young people who are encouraged by leftwing ‘elites’ who collectively march in the streets every weekend. They march, holding up signs calling for the death of Jews and supporting terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and they defend terrorist funding nations like Iran. This is alarming behaviour and yet the bulk of the population and the leaders of this country are “bystanders”.

We should be outraged by this and the excuse used by many “well look at what is happening in Gaza” has stuff all to do with it. What is happening in the Middle East is tragic, but we MUST not allow that to manifest any longer on our shores. It was a close call in Melbourne on Friday with the torching of a synagogue whilst people were inside thankfully no one was injured this time. But it is only a matter of time before someone will be.

We must demand that the leaders of this country come out of hiding and take steps to quell what is now the persecution of Jews on our soil. And the majority of people doing this aren’t recent migrants they are people from many countries now living in Australia and many who are Australian born with no links to the Middle East. This is about a changing culture and a culture war.

It pays to remember that it only took nine years between 1924 and 1933 for the Nazi Party to be transformed from a small, violent, revolutionary party to the largest elected party in the Reichstag. They were able to do this largely by propaganda aimed at exploiting people’s fear of uncertainty and instability. Jews also featured heavily in the Nazi propaganda as enemies of the German people.

Think about this in relation to what’s happening now. For some years, the young (in particular) and the so labelled marginalised have been brainwashed into believing their future is bleak. Climate change, inequity and various other pieces of propaganda pumped out daily have driven this. Those who have a vested interest in changing our culture promote it. When in fact, people today have more opportunity than ever, but that gets lost in the relentless bombardment of alarmism, hate, and lies that spread like wildfire on social media.

As Max Horder wrote in his superb piece recently, Assassin’s creed this in now manifesting as online subcultures normalising and justifying violence. He wrote of the justification of attempts on Trump’s life. The widespread public support for smashing up Tesla dealerships–and for shooting Elon Musk because he had the temerity to work for Trump.

Horder wrote of the applause for the actual murder of Unitedhealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December last year, which still goes on, unabated, online. And the accused killer, Luigi Mangione, is praised, respected and even worshipped by a small; but growing social media community. A psychotic murderer has become a hero for youngsters, who imagine he stands for vigilante justice against corporate greed. Many view Jews the same way. They are the oppressors who stole land from the Palestinians when actual history tells a very different story. But that doesn’t matter because this new culture praises the terrorists, hates democracy and views Israel as the world of the rich. Hence we see that manifested in attacking and vilifying Jews in Australia

What we are witnessing in Australia is an entirely new subculture for incubating radical and subversive ideas that are an anathema to the things Australia has historically stood for. With the power of the internet, this can get out of hand very quickly if we are not careful and we can’t afford to be bystanders any longer.

I personally think this is one of the most important discussions we need to have in our country. The question of how do we address this?  I don’t have the answers apart from keeping it front of mind in the hope others also recognise the seriousness. Then that we collectively in turn keep the pressure on the leaders of this country to get off the fence and start addressing this. We need action not weasel words.

Who are the real Luddites and Progressives.

The first windmill was used to make energy in Scotland in 1887 by James Blyth to power the lights in his home.

Water was first used to generate electricity in 1878. It was used by William Armstrong to generate energy to power a lamp in his house in Cragside, England.

Using the sun goes right back to the 7th Century B.C., when a magnifying glass was used to concentrate sun’s rays to make fire and to burn ants.

In the 3rd century BC, the Greeks and Romans used burning mirrors to light torches for religious purposes.

There was a reason these energy generation solutions didn’t take off in a big way. They were unreliable. Their success depended on unpredictable weather, and the cost of their equipment was high. The innovative minds of that era created sustainable alternatives, leading to the development of fossil fuel energy. Industries thrived, prosperity soared, health improved significantly, and cold-related deaths fell.

Now the climate zealot cultist demand we dump fossil fuels because they are going to save the planet. And they’re going to do that by forcing us to go back to the solutions of the 1800s and they call that progress. In doing that, they are destroying vast swathes of forests and agricultural land. Criminally destroying hundreds of hectares of native species’ habitat. Many of those species are already endangered. They are bankrupting nations, destroying manufacturing industries and driving up energy costs for millions of people.

The right of the political spectrum and the enlightened nations are steering toward nuclear. A solution that doesn’t require thousands of hectares of land to be sacrificed. A solution that doesn’t require the mining of dozens of different rare earth minerals. And a solution that doesn’t require replacement every 15-25 years leading to massive waste management issues. This raises the question: who are the true progressives regarding environmental protection and clean energy?

Nuclear energy guarantees we secure our current living standards without destroying thousands upon thousands of hectares of pristine ancient forests, farmland, and wildlife habitats. Besides not polluting our oceans and killing off whales, dolphins, and other marine creatures.

The cultish renewable energy eco fascists like Chris Bowen and Matt Kean are, in fact, the ones who are destroying the plant.

And note they never build these eyesores on the city fringes or on city parks where the bulk of energy users live. They foist them on quiet rural and regional areas and their communities. Areas where the devastation is significantly enhanced. But out of sight, out of mind. What hypocrites they are.

New Rules for the 48th Australian Parliament

Dear MPs and Senators

We, the Australian people, are YOUR employers. I repeat, WE employ YOU and you have been caught with your pants down with regards living it up at our expense. As most of you clearly can not be trusted to act responsibly with our money, we are setting new rules.

With the start of the new parliament, these rules come into effect immediately.

There are NO entitlements, only legitimate modest expense claims. All expenditure must pass the pub test. The pub used to model the test is located a five-hour drive from the black-stump and is affectionately known as “Stumpy’s Palace” as opposed to an inner city or Eastern Suburbs pubs.

GENERAL RULES:

Travel

You may travel and charge that to tax payers using these methods of transport only.

  1. Bus,

  2. Train (not first class),

  3. Self-drive rent a car nothing above the level of basic,

  4. Boat (preferably row yourself).

  5. Plane. If you fly, it must be via low-cost airlines. You MUST NOT turn left when boarding the plane. Electric fences are being installed on all aircraft just in case you try it. If you decide to fly yourself, you pay out of your already generous salary. Charter planes are strictly forbidden.

NOTE: Bonus points will be awarded for compliant behavior and can cash your points in for lunch packs on your next flight.

Entertainment.

Attending sporting functions is permissible, as that’s an Aussie thing to do. But, they must NOT be outside of your electoral boundary. Pies and beers at half-time are NOT deemed legitimate expenses and therefore must be paid for by you. All other forms of entertainment events are BANNED. This particularly applies to those requiring the wearing of hats, sequined dresses or tuxedos. You simply can’t have government for the people by the people when the people’s representatives are living it up at the Polo or the Opera House and the people who pay your wages are at home watching TV because they can no longer afford to go out.

Accommodation

Can NOT be claimed if you have access to a hire car. Hundreds of Australians lack housing and resort to sleeping in their cars each night because of financial constraints and it will be an enlightening experience for you to empathise with their experience. Character building, in fact, And multi-purpose is the order of the day.

If tax payer funded accommodation is required (as an example for you to attend parliamentary sittings), tents are available for this purpose on a share basis. Minimum three per tent. Strictly no gender mixing. The last thing we need is another scandal. Space has been made available on the Parliament House lawn. BBQs are also available. Bathroom facilities are available in Parliament House. Sleeping in your Parliamentary Office is strictly forbidden.

When travelling overseas or to other parts of Australia that requires you to secure accommodation (and if Aunty Betty’s house is full), lightweight travel tents are available from the Parliament House stationery cupboard. Note, these must be signed for and a fully refundable deposit is required. Tent space is available at all OS Australian & friendly embassies. Locally, the Police Station carpark is the preferred option. That will save the police being called out when angry locals protest on hearing you are in town.

Meal vouchers are also available when you collect your tent.

These rules are to be implemented immediately. Any MP or Senator found to be in breach of these new guidelines will be paraded through their local streets naked, whilst your constituents (led by the local homeless and Pensioners Association) lob tomatoes and various other weapons of choice at you. From there you will be taken to the local stocks for a further 24 hours or until you beg forgiveness and promise not to be naughty boys or girls again.

Signed: The Long Suffering Australian Public

Voting based on values not promises

I read this recently, and it is so true.

“𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙭 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨, 𝙫𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙛𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪. 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚.”

My assessment only, but I sense for too long in this country people haven’t voted on values, they’ve voted on promises and what they think they can squeeze out of taxpayers. I say taxpayers as opposed to government because that is who funds government. Taxpayers; friends, family, neighbours and businesses small and large because those people are the ones funding Labor’s handouts and promises.

If people voted on values, they wouldn’t have put Labor back into government. How could you possibly think a man and a party that has lied, broken promise after promise and made life harder for millions of people have any values? And a Treasurer who had the temerity to stand there and tell us how well they are doing? How could you possibly think that a party who stooped to attacking the leader of the opposition’s appearance (being he has no hair) possess any values? How could you believe a leader who can look you in the eye and blatantly lie about what the opposition would do to you to frightened you have any values? Particularly when the opposition clearly and unequivocally stated they wouldn’t do what they were being accused of and the evidence backed the oppositions claim up!

Considering Albahese’s in 2022 lies, the hardship he caused, his insufficient amends and never saying sorry or even admitting he’d failed coupled with more lies, and contradictory evidence regarding his 2028 promises, how can you possibly trust him? If you voted for that, that isn’t be voting on values, it is voting for grand promises.

Anthony Albanese is a hard left socialist. He has promised not to unleash a radical agenda on the nation as Labor remains on track to reach 90 seats or more following Labor’s victory. And voters, voting on promises not values, has gifted him an overwhelming mandate.

Of course, this was the same promise the Labor leader made in 2022. And we all know how that story played out. And if you trust him to keep his word this time, good luck, you are going to need it.
